Ken Tiemann joined Save Muny in 2008. He worked directly on the historic research and submissions leading to the following recognitions for Lions Municipal Golf Course:

  • National Trust’s 11 Most Endangered Historic Places (2016)

  • Preservation Austin’s Special Recognition for Outstanding Public Service (2016)

  • Texas Golf Hall of Fame’s Registry of Historic Golf Courses (2017) 

  • Cultural Landscape Foundation’s Landslide 2018: Grounds for Democracy
